Terms of Use
Effective date: 26 September 2026
1. Acceptance
By using the Chayxana app you accept these terms of use. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.
2. The service
Chayxana is a free mobile application offering online board games (currently dominoes).
3. Account
There are three ways to open an account: guest access — the account is tied to an identifier created on your device; Google sign-in — the account is tied to your Google account; and Sign in with Apple (iOS only) — the account is tied to your Apple account. Which one you use is your choice.
With guest access, if you change your device or delete the app, your account may not be recoverable, because the key to it exists only on that device. If you signed in with Google, you can reach the same account from another device with that same Google account. If you signed in with Apple, you can reach the same account from another iOS device with that same Apple account.
What is collected when you sign in with Google or Apple, and why it is kept, is set out in section 2 of the Privacy Policy.
4. Tokens
Tokens are an in-app virtual unit. They have no real monetary value, are non-refundable and cannot be transferred between accounts. If the service is discontinued, no compensation is provided for tokens.
5. Code of conduct
- Insults, profanity, threats and spam are prohibited;
- Cheat software, bots and automation tools are prohibited;
- Gaining an advantage by creating multiple accounts is prohibited.
We enforce zero tolerance for behaviour that breaks these rules and for abusive content. If you encounter such behaviour, report it from within the app: long-press the message in the chat or tap the player's card in the room, choose «Şikayət et» (Report) and pick a reason.
As a second option, you can also write to info@chayxana.app: include the player's nickname, their player ID if you know it, and the room code.
Reports are reviewed; accounts that break the rules may be banned without prior warning, and messages that break the rules may be removed from the chat.
Automatic filter
Chat messages and nicknames are checked automatically against a list of inappropriate words. Such a word in a chat message is hidden with *** and the rest of the message is sent; the original text of the message may be kept in a moderation record (see the Privacy Policy, §6 and §9). A new or changed nickname that contains such a word is not accepted, and you are asked to choose another nickname.
The filter works automatically and can make mistakes: it may miss some inappropriate expressions and may occasionally hide a harmless word. Report a rule violation the filter missed through the reporting route described above.
Blocking a player
You can block any player by tapping their card in the room and choosing «Blokla» (Block). The blocked player's chat messages are not shown to you. You and the blocked player cannot join each other's waiting room, are not placed in the same room by quick match, do not see each other in the room list or in search, and cannot send each other friend requests.
When you block a player, any friendship and friend requests between you are deleted; they do not come back when you unblock the player. If you are already in the same room, nobody is removed from the room and the game continues; if you leave a game in progress, the technical loss rule in §6 applies. Blocked players remain visible on the leaderboard.
You can see your blocked players under Profile → «Bloklanmış oyunçular» (Blocked players) and unblock a player with «Blokdan çıxar» (Unblock). Blocking a player is not a report: report behaviour that breaks the rules as described above.
Private room
When you create a room you can make it private; this choice is made only when the room is created and cannot be changed later. A private room is not shown in the room list, quick match does not place players in a private room, and a private room cannot be joined with the room code. Only friends invited by the room owner — players whose friend request has been accepted — can join a private room, by accepting the invitation.
An invitation becomes invalid when the room starts a game or is closed, and also when the inviting player leaves the room; how long an invitation stays valid is set out in section 9 of the Privacy Policy. When a friendship is removed or one of the players blocks the other, the invitations between them are deleted, and a blocked player cannot be invited.
6. Leaving a game
If a game is abandoned before it ends, a technical loss is applied to the leaving player: they are treated as having lost and they lose score and tokens. The score and tokens lost by the leaving player are split equally among the remaining players: in a 2-player game the remaining player is declared the winner and receives all of it, and in a 4-player game it is split equally among the three remaining players.
7. Suspension of accounts
Accounts that violate these rules may be suspended temporarily or permanently.
8. Intellectual property
The name, logo, design and code of the app belong to Chayxana.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that the app will operate uninterrupted or error-free.
10. Account deletion
You may delete your account at any time via Profile → Delete account. More details: account deletion.
11. Changes
These terms may be updated from time to time. The update date is shown at the top of this page.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
